2018 Company Highlights:

2018 has been an amazing year full of positive change and celebration. Our new branding and website unrolled without a hitch in May. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out and see our client’s gorgeous homes and luxury commercial spaces.

In October, we all came together to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary at the Palm Beach Cultural Council. Nothing could have better exemplified our new tag line, “Where Building is Art,” than our beautiful project photos on display.

Woolems Luxury Home Builders founders James and Eleanor Woolems also displayed their personal sculptures and paintings in their first art exhibition—which was highlighted in the Palm Beach Daily News!

2018 Project Highlights:

There were so many great residential and commercial projects completed in 2018. Here are a few of our favorites:

Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa – Phase 1

This was a renovation of 40,000± square feet of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, which comprised the ballrooms and meeting rooms, the business center, restrooms and the catering kitchen. The extensive renovation also included converting the main corridors from carpet to marble flooring; installing custom wall coverings and silver leaf ceiling accents; repairs and refurbishments to crystal ballroom chandeliers; modernizing meeting spaces with digital directories and information boards; installing a specialty custom-made antique glass mirror mosaic feature wall; and installing new ceiling panels.

The kitchen renovation included a new ergonomic and resilient flooring system; specialty acoustic ceiling panels; LED rectangular lighting; updating fire sprinkler heads and life safety devices; a new framing and moisture-resistant gypsum wall board; and new stainless steel wall paneling throughout the entire space. The project was completed in an aggressive six-week time frame while the hotel remained open. Read more about this project in this post!

The Surf Club | Surfside, Florida – Residential Condominium Build Out

The project consisted of a new ceiling layout, new wall configuration with trimless lights and air diffuser slots, trimless doors, custom millwork wall paneling including a wood-wrapped round column, metal and stone ledges for sculptural art displays, custom light fixtures, chandeliers, and more. Other installations included new custom casework and closet systems, new stone and tile work, smart glass shower enclosures. In addition to the various installations, there was a significant HVAC relocation, as well as extensive electrical and home automation work.

This new construction two-story custom-built residence totals 9,581± total square feet and comprises five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and two powder rooms; as well as a two-car garage, elevator, gym, office, pool and spa.
